Cell Disruption® Technology
A registered Lithuanian technology that opens the spirulina cell, releasing its proteins and natural pigments into a ready-to-use, water-based extract that is quantified in every batch.
The Problem
Spirulina is rich in proteins and natural pigments such as phycocyanin. As a dry powder, it is difficult to work with: it disperses poorly in water-based products, settles in liquids, and rarely comes with measured values for the compounds that make it distinctive. Many alternative extracts rely on solvents, carriers or heat that do not fit clean, premium products.
"We open the cell so manufacturers can use what’s inside — measured in every batch."
The Technology
Spirulina and water only — no solvents, no added preservatives or carriers.
Heat-sensitive proteins and pigments stay soluble and are quantified on every batch certificate.
Specification guaranteed for 6 months frozen at −18 °C. Up to 3 weeks at room temperature. Freeze-dried format available.

Applications
A raw ingredient for manufacturers, brands and researchers.
Serums, mists, toners, gels and creams. A water-soluble liquid for the water phase, used commercially at 0.2–0.4%.
Oral sprays, drops and liquid shots. Used commercially at 0.5% in an oral spray food supplement.
Premium cold-processed products such as shots, drinks and frozen desserts, with the extract added below 60 °C.
A ready-to-use solution with quantified phycobiliproteins for lab and application research. Samples from 1 ml.
Liquid drops, sprays and toppers for pet and equine brands. Buyers complete their own regulatory review.
A documented EU ingredient: a COA for every numbered batch, GMP-certified production, volume pricing.
Technology in Action
Cell Disruption® Technology is not theoretical. Fitoterra — developed by the same team — is the first commercial product line built on this technology.
Fitoterra's Spirulina Face Serum (0.4% extract), facial mist (0.2%) and Spirulina Oral Spray food supplement (0.5%) are made with CDT extract in GMP-certified production.
They show Cell Disruption® Technology working at commercial scale, in real formulations, at low use levels. Also used by Supreme Spirulina (suspil.com).
